How to Overlay Images

  1. Select a Base Image (background) and an Overlay Image (top layer).
  2. Choose a quick position or drag the overlay on the preview.
  3. Adjust opacity, scale, rotation and blend mode — preview updates live.
  4. Fine-tune X/Y offset for pixel-perfect placement.

Blend Modes Explained

Normal simply places the overlay on top with opacity. Multiply darkens, Screen lightens, Overlay combines both for contrast. Difference and Exclusion create artistic inversions. Experiment live to find the perfect look for double-exposure, watermarks, or creative composites.

Normal, Multiply, Screen, Overlay, Darken, Lighten, Color Dodge, Color Burn, Hard Light, Soft Light, Difference, Exclusion, Hue, Saturation, Color and Luminosity — all rendered live on canvas.

Can I drag the overlay?

Yes. After loading both images, drag the overlay directly on the preview canvas. You can also use the position presets and X/Y offset sliders for precise control.

What output formats are supported?

PNG (preserves transparency), JPG and WebP. Quality is adjustable for JPG/WebP.
